Metal Structured Packing

AYRTTER is a professional manufacturer and supplier of Metal Structured Packing in China. We understand that metal packing often falls short in harsh conditions such as strong corrosion, high temperatures, the presence of solid particles, and easy scaling. Ceramic materials, with their excellent corrosion resistance, high-temperature resistance, and hydrophilic surface properties, are the ideal choice for such applications. AYRTTER Metal Structured Packing is specifically designed for fine chemical, pharmaceutical, environmental desulfurization, organic acid concentration, chlor-alkali industry, and tail gas treatment fields, enabling long-term stable operation in extreme environments.

Product Description

Metal Structured Packing is made from high-purity ceramic raw materials (such as alumina, mullite, cordierite, etc.) through vacuum extrusion and high-temperature sintering, resulting in a smooth surface and regular structure. Its unique corrugated channel design allows the gas and liquid phases to repeatedly turn and fully contact within the packing layer, providing high separation efficiency while also exhibiting excellent corrosion resistance and thermal shock resistance.

Compared with structured metal packing, metal structured packing has irreplaceable advantages in acidic media, high-temperature gases, and systems containing solid particles.

Product Feature

1. Excellent corrosion resistance
Ceramic materials are inherently resistant to acids, alkalis, organic solvents, and various corrosive media. AYRTTER Metal Structured Packing can withstand strong corrosive media such as sulfuric acid, hydrochloric acid, nitric acid, phosphoric acid, acetic acid, and caustic soda for extended periods, making it particularly suitable for applications where metal packing cannot be used.
2. High temperature resistance and good thermal stability
Ceramic fillers can maintain structural integrity and mechanical strength for a long time in high-temperature environments of 300°C–1000°C. They have a low coefficient of thermal expansion and excellent thermal shock resistance, making them suitable for high-temperature gas cooling, incineration exhaust gas treatment, and heat recovery systems.
3. The surface is hydrophilic and has excellent wettability.
Ceramic materials naturally possess hydrophilic properties, allowing liquids to easily spread and form films on the filler surface, resulting in a large gas-liquid contact area and high mass transfer efficiency. Even at low spray densities, they maintain good wetting, avoiding dry-wall and channeling phenomena.
4. Strong anti-clogging ability
Metal Structured Packing features a well-designed corrugated channel, adjustable interlayer spacing, and a smooth ceramic surface that resists the adhesion of solid particles and polymers, making it suitable for dusty gases or systems prone to fouling.
5. High mechanical strength and long service life
Ceramic fillers sintered at high temperatures have high compressive and flexural strength, can withstand the weight of the upper filler and gas-liquid erosion, are not easily broken or pulverized, and have a service life of more than ten years.
6. No catalytic activity, suitable for sensitive systems.
Ceramic materials are chemically inert and will not introduce catalytic effects or metal ion contamination into the reaction or separation system, making them particularly suitable for industries with high purity requirements such as fine chemicals, pharmaceuticals, and electronic chemicals.
