Product Description

A Float Valve Tray is a plate column internal that uses valve holes in the tray to install a floating valve plate. The kinetic energy of rising gas lifts the valve plate, allowing the gas to be injected horizontally into the liquid layer, achieving sufficient gas-liquid contact and mass transfer.
Working Process:
1. Gas Passage: Gas rises from the lower tray and enters the float valve through the valve holes in the tray plate.
2. Valve Opening: When the gas velocity reaches a certain value, it lifts the valve plate (the opening height automatically adjusts with the gas velocity).
3. Gas Dispersion: Guided by the valve plate, the gas is injected horizontally or laterally into the liquid layer on the tray.
4. Gas-Liquid Contact: The gas bubbles and emulsifies in the liquid layer, making full contact with the liquid to complete mass and heat transfer.
5. Liquid Flow: The liquid flows horizontally across the tray and through the downcomer to the lower tray.
6. Valve Closing: When the gas velocity decreases, the valve plate automatically falls back under gravity to prevent liquid leakage.
