Metal VSP Ring is a high-performance metal random packing material. Its name, "84," originates from its unique structural features—eight inner arc surfaces and a four-point support structure. "VSP" is an abbreviation for "Vertical Saddle Packing," accurately describing its shape—possessing both the open curved surfaces of saddle packing and maintaining vertical regularity.
The design philosophy of Metal VSP Ring can be summarized as "curved surfaces for superior performance, combining rigidity and flexibility." Traditional annular packing materials (such as metal Raschig ring s and metal Pall rings) have their main mass transfer surfaces as the inner and outer cylindrical surfaces of the ring, forming continuous and regular arcs; saddle packing materials (such as metal rectangular saddle rings) have their main mass transfer surfaces as open saddle-shaped curved surfaces, exhibiting irregular curvature.
