Product Feature
I. Extremely High Porosity, Maximum Throughput
Hiflow Ring's design prioritizes porosity as its primary optimization objective. By employing taller rings, thinner walls, and larger, more numerous windows, Hiflow Ring achieves a porosity among all random packing materials. With the same column diameter and packing height, Hiflow Ring's processing capacity can be 50%–100% higher than conventional packing materials, making it particularly suitable for applications requiring the processing of extremely large volumes of gas.
II. Extremely Low Pressure Drop, Significant Energy Savings
The extremely high porosity and unobstructed gas flow channels result in minimal resistance as gas passes through the Hiflow Ring packing layer. Under the same processing conditions, Hiflow Ring's pressure drop is significantly lower than that of conventional packing materials. For processes highly sensitive to pressure drop, such as vacuum distillation, this translates to lower bottom temperatures, less decomposition of heat-sensitive materials, and lower energy consumption; for large fan-driven absorber towers, this translates to substantial electricity savings.
III. High Flooding Point, Capable of Withstanding High Gas Velocities
Hiflow Ring's design allows it to maintain stable operation without flooding even at extremely high gas velocities. This characteristic makes it particularly suitable for applications with extremely high gas-liquid ratios, or for handling larger gas volumes with a constant column diameter.
IV. Low Liquid Holdup, Suitable for Heat-Sensitive Materials
The open structure of the Hiflow Ring results in extremely low liquid holdup, meaning a short residence time of the liquid within the packing layer. This characteristic is especially important for heat-sensitive systems—the shorter the residence time of the liquid in the high-temperature zone, the lower the risk of thermal decomposition and polymerization. Simultaneously, low liquid holdup also translates to faster start-up response and less product retention.
V. Excellent Anti-Clogging Capacity, Easy Maintenance
The large opening design of the Hiflow Ring provides excellent anti-clogging capability. Even with small amounts of solid particles, they are unlikely to accumulate within the packing layer. The large channel design makes it easy to clean and maintain.
