Product Feature
I. High Throughput and Strong Processing Capacity
Due to the perforations in the ring wall, the internal space of the Pall Ring is fully utilized. Gas and liquid can freely enter and exit through the perforations, significantly reducing the resistance of the packing layer and substantially increasing the gas-liquid throughput. Compared to Raschig rings, the processing capacity of the Pall Ring can be increased by more than 50%, making it particularly suitable for applications with high gas-liquid loads.
II. Low Pressure Drop and Significant Energy Savings
The open structure of the Pall Ring allows for smooth gas flow through the packing layer with low local resistance. Under the same processing conditions, the pressure drop of the Pall Ring is much lower than that of the Raschig ring, effectively reducing the energy consumption of the blower or compressor and significantly saving operating costs.
III. High Mass Transfer Efficiency and Excellent Separation
The internal tongue structure of the perforations guides the liquid into the interior of the ring, resulting in a more uniform distribution of liquid on the surface of the packing particles and avoiding the central dry zone and wall flow phenomena that are common in traditional packings. Repeated contact and sufficient mass transfer between the gas and liquid phases within the packing layer significantly improves separation efficiency, achieving the same separation requirements at a lower packing layer height.
AYRTTER Pall Rings are available in a variety of materials to suit different media environments:
Manufacturing & Quality
AYRTTER Pall Rings utilize advanced manufacturing processes and a rigorous quality control system.
Metal Pall Rings are precision stamped, resulting in accurate window dimensions and smooth, burr-free edges. Each Pall Ring has uniform wall thickness and good roundness, ensuring even stacking within the filler layer.
Plastic Pall Rings are precision injection molded in one piece, ensuring excellent dimensional consistency. Strict control of injection temperature and pressure ensures a bubble-free interior and a smooth surface.
Ceramic Pall Rings are manufactured using vacuum extrusion and high-temperature sintering, resulting in a dense, high-strength body. Precise sintering temperature control ensures excellent corrosion resistance and mechanical strength.
AYRTTER Pall Rings comply with ISO9001 quality management system certification. Each batch undergoes rigorous inspection to ensure stable performance and reliable quality.

As a classic representative of random packing, the Pall Ring maintains its widespread application for decades due to its comprehensive advantages of high throughput, low pressure drop, and high mass transfer efficiency. AYRTTER Pall Ring provides efficient, economical, and durable packing solutions for various separation towers with its precise manufacturing process, complete material selection, and reliable product quality. Choosing AYRTTER means choosing the perfect combination of classic design and efficiency.
The Pall Ring was invented by BASF in Germany. Compared to Raschig rings, the most important improvement is the addition of two rows of inwardly curved inner tongues. This structure promotes gas-liquid flow and improves the mass transfer performance of the tower packing.
